Imagine, as a teacher, trying to lead 30 students of different levels through complex polynomials. Putting aside those few who are strongest at math, there will be a great portion of the class that just doesn’t want to be there. They won’t participate. Another portion will have learning needs that are more specific–not everyone can just absorb information from lectures in a way that makes them feel good about the content. Fewer still know how to take good notes, so they spend the entire class jotting information down rather than trying to understand it in situ.

No wonder, then, that so many students consider math dry or boring–in classroom settings many are set up to fail from the start.

At Bow Tie we can help! One-to-one tutoring lessons allow students to learn not only at their pace, but in the manner which suits them best. Homework not making sense?
